The exit poll gives 90(+/ -9) seats to BJP, 27(+/-7) seats to Congress, All India United Democratic Front AIUDF has been predicted to get 9 (+/- 3) seats and 00 (+2) seats to other parties.
Over 78% of the 95 lakh electorate cast their ballot on April 4 in the first round of assembly elections to pick 65 legislators in Assam. The overall polling percentage in Assam elections of 2016 was 84.72%, which is highest in the history of Assam.
