Hyderabad: YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy, who has been on an indefinite hunger strike against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, has been refusing treatment and continuing his fast in hospital, doctors said, hours after he was forcibly shifted to the government facility.
Reddy, whose popularity in Seemandhra region has soared considerably after his party began spearheading protests against the Congress for proposing to carve out a new Telangana state began fasting six days ago in jail, where he faces trial for alleged corruption.
