After repeated disruptions, the Congress has finally managed the seemingly unmanageable. They have finally been able to get the Parliament to debate Food Bill. The voting on the food security bill is expected to be later this evening.

In a rare Parliament speech, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi went full guns blazing in favour of Congress' supposed game changer come 2014.

Sonia resorted to rhetoric to defend her ambitious game changer Bill and called it a historic moment for India.

interestingly, it was SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav who gives crucial outside support to UPA II, who strongly questioned the very basis of the bill, saying it was an ill-prepared scheme.
