News X: VHP activists protest at Jantar Mantar over ban on Yatra

Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists staged massive protests across the the country against the U.P government's clampdown on the yatra.
AT parliament street police had to resort to lathichrage and fire water cannons to rein in protesters. VHP activists webt on similar rampages in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Ahmedabad and Bangalore, among other cities.

However, even as the nation simmers in the temple row, Ayodhya is unusually calm schools, shops, markets, offices operating as always.
