JNU Row: Delhi Police interrogates Umar Khalid's friend Sadiq Naqvi

A Delhi-based journalist, who is a friend of Umar Khalid, has been questioned by Delhi Police about the whereabouts of Khalid, who the police are searching for in connection with the sedition case registered over the controversial event at JNU held last week.The journalist, Sadiq Naqvi, was at Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh when a team of Delhi Police officials approached him today, following which he was questioned about Khalid’s whereabouts. They also asked him to come to Delhi and Naqvi is presently on his way.
The developments have been confirmed by a senior official in south district of Delhi Police.
