4 SIMI operatives held in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Odisha on February 21, the police on Wednesday arrested four suspected terrorists having links to the banned terror outfit Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) at Rourkela of Sundargarh district.Police arrested them following an exchange of fire around 1 am in their rented house at densely populated Nala Road. Nobody was injured in the operation that continued till 4 am."The SIMI operatives are from Madhya Pradesh. They had been using Rourkela as their hide-out for the past 8 months. They were wanted by NIA in three cases.
