MCD strike Day 4: Money had been released and alleges scam in corporation, says Manish Sisodia

Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday said that there is a scam in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) as the state government had disbursed the funds to pay 12 months worth of salaries of the Corporation workers. Sisodia made the statement against the backdrop of intensified protests and demonstrations and political blame game even as the city suffered as garbage piles built up on its streets due to lack of workers to take care of them.
