In Karnataka too the State Government and opposition are at loggerheads over the treatment meted out to a state administrative service officer. The Karnataka BJP alleges that the Congress Government in the state has kept a senior Karnataka Administrative Service officer's (KAS)promotion and posting in abeyance for over a month.
