News X: Amid reports that Congress leadership may take a decision in favour of separate Telangana about 16 YSR Congress MLAs and one Congress MLA have resigned from their posts in support of United Andhra.
The YSR Congress leaders stated that they were resigning in protest against Congress decision to divide the state this move is being seen as an effort to snatch the initiative away from the Congress.
