NewsX: Doubles champion Jwala Gutta cries foul over the reduced price for her auction in the Indian Badminton League.
Jwala expressed her anger stating that she felt cheated. She alleges that her price was reduced from 50000 US dollars to 31000 US dollars without her knowledge. The ace Indian shuttler also says that she was wrongly being branded as rebel when she was not one.
Doubles specialists Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa were left disappointed with the Indian Badminton League's decision to reduce their auction price. Jwala was sold to the Delhi franchisee whereas Ponappa was sold to Pune team of IBL. National team coach Pullela Gopichand however praises the league.
