Chilly day in Delhi, temperature dips to 5.4 degrees Celsius

It was a chilly day in the national capital on Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 5.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below season's average. The minimum temperature at Lodhi Road observatory recorded a low of 5.3 degrees Celsius even as Palam registered it at 7 degrees Celsius, said a Met department official. Kanpur becomes one of the coldest destinations, night temperature dips to just 1.8 degrees.
