Operation Surgeon was a code used by the ISI moles to collect sensitive information. The code name was in fact used by Farid Khan an army hawaldar who is accused of leaking information to the ISI. The investigations that are being conducted clearly show that the spy ring was a well established one and people from different walks of life were used to source and pass information. The role of a school teacher in this entire racket is extremely important. Sabar the school teacher from Rajouri was allegedly the go in-between man and he coordinated between a retired and serving army hawaldar to source information.
