Captain Amarinder Singh set to take over as PCC Chief: Sources

The Punjab Congress is set for a major reshuffle ahead of the State Elections with PCC Chief Partap Singh Bajwa tendering his resignation to the party president Sonia Gandhi. Sources have told NewsX that Captain Amarinder Singh will be named as the new Chief of the Punjab Congress Committee. The decision was taken in a meet with Rahul Gandhi a few days ago. Sonia Gandhi will announce the decision in the next couple of days. Sources also say that the party would also announce a new chairman of the campaign committee.
