Sheena Bora constantly 'blackmailed' Indrani Mukerjea, says CBI

Constant "blackmailing" of former media executive Indrani Mukerjea by her daughter Sheena Bora and relationship with Rahul Mukerjea were among the reasons for her murder in April 2012, according to a CBI official. Peter, who is in CBI custody till November 23, is the husband of Indrani, the prime accused in the case. Money, Sheena's relationship with Peter's son Rahul and blackmailing of Indrani by her daughter were the three motives for the latter's killing, he said. According to the officer, in 2004, Indrani had gifted a seven BHK flat in Delhi to Sheena. However, the flat wasn't transferred in Sheena's name and in 2010 Indrani and Peter sold the apartment for Rs 1.10 crore without her knowledge.
