Accidental fire by cop near PM's residence

Panic spread near Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, 7 Race Course road, late on Wednesday evening after gunshots rang in the vicinity of the highly secured area.
However, it turned out that the firing was accidental and it had happened when the AK-47 assault rifle of the gunman of a PCR van, Victor 35, went off. Three shots were fired one after another at the spot, which is a parking lot near the 7 RCR. Nobody sustained injuries in the incident, police said.
