Nitin Gadkari takes a bus trip to Jaipur to inspect NH-8

Union Road Transport and Highways minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday took a road trip from Delhi to Jaipur by bus, in order to inspect National Highway-8. Gadkari said that the population commuting between Delhi and Jaipur is quite high and the infrastructure is not properly developed. He also said that considering the traffic point of view, construction of the new highways shall be fastracked in order to ease the flow of vehicles. NH-8 connects the national capital New Delhi and Jaipur in Rajasthan.
