News X: Rehabilitation in Uttarakhand

News X: After the flood mayhem the Uttarakhand government is busy working on rehabilitation. It has sought 2,000 crore from the centre, of which the centre has already approved rupees 1000 crore. State Government estimates that it has lost to the tune of 1000 crore rupees. Drinking Water supply , power and road infrastructure has been the worst hit.Of the Power projects that has been hit MANERI BHALI I & II and KALIGANGA have been badly affected. 237 drinking water schemes are damaged. While 744 roads out of 1,636 damaged, are yet to be rebuilt.
