Jammu & Kashmir: Four jawans, one militant killed in two encounters

Four jawans and a militant were on Monday killed in two separate encounters between security forces and terrorists in Kupwara district in Kashmir Valley.

Three jawans lost their lives in the gunbattle with the militants during an operation launched in Haphruda forest in Handwara following information about presence of militants there, an Army spokesperson said.
