NewsX: DMK leader T R Baalu meets Sonia Gandhi

NewsX: After DMDK, the DMK approached the Congress seeking support for Kanimozhi. Both the Tamil Nadu parties are set to fight for the sixth seat in the June 27 elections to Rajya Sabha from the state. DMK leader T R Baalu met Congress President Sonia Gandhi seeking the party's support. The meeting was the first between a DMK representative and Sonia Gandhi after they parted ways few months back. Sources said the Congress is yet to decide on the issue.
