Meerut: Army man saves girl from getting sexually harassed; beaten to death by mob

Two days before Independence Day, an army man in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh was lynched by a mob from whom he rescued a girl from being sexually harassed,On August 13, Thursday, Lance Nayak Ved Mitra Chaudhary managed to save a girl from a group of men who were sexually harassing her. The 31-year old army man was able to overpower the unruly men and forced them to run away.The girl said to the TV channel that four to five men were 'teasing' her. "my father, brother and the soldier intervened (during the harassment). The soldier got slapped and a fight broke out.
