Government should immediately call off NSA talks with Pakistan, says Congress

Congress leader Manish Tewari on Sunday called for the cancellation of NSA level talks between India and Pakistan scheduled to take place on August 23-24. Tewari insisted that the BJP led-NDA Government should cut off all the contacts with Pakistan till the time ceasefire violations continue to take place across the border. Earlier, Pakistani troops resorted to yet another ceasefire violation in Balakot region of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Six civilians were killed and 15 other were injured as per latest reports. Heavy mortar shelling is going on the area and the villagers residing in the border areas are being vacated by the army.
