Bihar Police has arrested JD(U) MLA Sunil Pandey in connection with Ara blast case. Pandey was arrested from the office of Ara SP where he was called for a meeting. The arrest was made after Sachidanand Sharma alias Lambu Sharma, main accused in the bomb blast at Ara district court in January this year, said that Pandey facilitated his escape from jail and sheltered him subsequently. The special cell of Delhi Police had last month arrested Sharma, who had escaped from police custody after orchestrating a blast at Arrah court premises.
