An Air India flight was delayed and three passengers reportedly deboarded to accommodate Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju last week. Rijiju was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh and the duo were to fly to Delhi from Leh on June 24, when the reported incident took place. When contacted, Rijiju denied the allegations and said he was not aware that three passengers had been deboarded to accommodate him and had he known this, he would have never appreciated the step of the Leh administration, which had booked him on the flight.
