Speak out India: Blast in Uttar Pradesh Shooks Nation

NewsX: Uttar Pradesh (UP) chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday ordered CBI probe into the death of 2007 serial blasts accused Khalid Mujahid. The probe will be conducted along with two other inquiries - administrative and judicial - ordered on Saturday soon after 30-year-old Khalid died in police van while being brought back to Lucknow jail from Faizabad court where trial in one of the terror cases is underway.

Khalid's family members have also lodged an FIR in Barabanki against former director general of police Vikram Singh, additional director general of police Brij Lal and 42 others on charges of criminal conspiracy to implicate Khalid in false charges which led to his death. All those named in the FIR were allegedly responsible for Khalid's arrest.
