NewsX: Some action against the errant cop who slapped a girl in custody yesterday. The SHO of the particular police station has been suspended and a departmental enquiry has been ordered against him. The action has been ordered by the SP of Ghaziabad district. This comes after an outcry over the manner in which UP ADG Arun Kumar initially defended the cop's action saying the woman was drunk and abusive.
