Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi told reporters that the police was now probing whether the fake degree issue was a bigger racket in the country.

"The most important aspect of this case is that the documents were fake. If they are false, then who made it? Were fake documents made for other people too? And since when was this racket on?" Bassi said. "Investigating officer needs to collect information."
