1984 anti-Sikh riot: Delhi Court question Jagdish Tytler’s role in influencing witness
  • 5 years ago
Lawyer HS Phoolka has expressed his concern over the CBI’s move to give cclean chit to Indian National Congress politician Jagdish Tytler in the 1984 anti-Sikh riot case. HS Phoolka has said that the complete statement of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan contradicts with Tytler’s claims.

As Amitabh Bachchan had said that he was in Teen Murti Bhavan near Indira Gandhi’s dead body on November 1, 1984. But during that time, he does not remember seeing Tytler. Amitabh Bachchan’s statement on 1984 riot case is ontraditiong, and HS Phoolka had claimed earlier that he would file a protest petition against the CBI’s move to file closure on the report, and thereby giving clean chit to Tytler.
