Saradha chit fund scam: Congress protests, seeks CBI probe

The West Bengal Youth Congress on Monday held a massive protest in Kolkata demanding a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the recently exposed chit fund scam.
The protesters also demanded immediate arrest of Trinamool Congress MP Kunal Ghosh, whose name figured in a letter by key accused in the case -- Saradha Group chairman-cum-managing director Sudipta Sen -- to the CBI. Sen had accused Ghosh of blackmailing and named him one of the many political beneficiaries of the Ponzi scheme.
