Blast outside BJP office at 10:30am in Bangalore this morning. Police say that blast was caused when an IED devise was exploded and are looking for the trigger. A number of vehicles parked in the vicinity caught fire after the explosion. At least 13 persons, including eight policemen, were injured in the blast and rushed to hospital. This is the first time that a political party has been directly targeted by terror. The entire area has been cordoned off. Multiple forensic teams are at the spot and are looking for clues. A team from the National Investigating Agency (NIA) is also on location. With assembly polls just three weeks away, police are probing the terror angle as well.
