JD(U) national committee meet: Party to go slow on Modi

Contrary to expectations, the JD(U) National Executive, which began in New Delhi today is unlikely to see any political resolutions especially on the Prime Ministerial candidate of the NDA. JD(U) has been vocal against the clamour within the BJP to project Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the alliance's Prime Ministerial candidate ahead of the Lok Sabha polls in 2014.
