J&K police bust a hideout, recover arms

Handwara police in a joint search operation with 21 Rajputana Rifles busted a rebel hideout in Handwara forests and recovered arms and ammunition including six AK rifles. According to police spokesperson on a tip off, Handwara police alongwith 21 RR launched a search operation in Moldari forests in Handwara district, in the early hours yesterday. During the search in the forests a hideout was busted. Six rifles and 70 UBGL were recovered from the hideout. The search operation was going on when reports last came in. Kupwara police defused a live RL shell in an orchid in Sogam area.
