RSS raises the bogey of Muslim population growth. It reverts to Hindutva platform at its conclave in Jaipur. The RSS said that the rapid growth of Muslim population is a threat to national security. It said "Muslims growing at the rate of 1 per cent per decade". The number is also increasing due to Muslim infiltration from Bangladesh. The RSS statement intends to provoke communal tension in supercharged communal tension across the country and in the neighbourhood. This provocation comes in the backdrop of bombings in Hyderabad, terror attack in Srinagar and riots in Bangladesh.
