Petrol price slashed: India happy but not sure with govt's decision

Petrol prices have been cut by 2 rupees per litre. It is the steepest reduction in rates in nine months. While petrol price has been cut by Rs. 2 per litre, excluding local sales tax or VAT, there will be no change in diesel rates. India reacts to this happily but seemed to be suspicious with saying govt may rise price again as it has been noticed many time in recent past.
