MP cops fire at one another in police station, both dead

In a shocking incident, a sub-divisional officer of police (SDOP) and a town inspector shot each other dead on Monday afternoon in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh over some dispute.
The incident took place at office of Prithvipur SDOP at around 3.15pm.
As per the information received so far, both SDOP Kishore Mullick and town inspector Pramod Chaturvedi fired at each other and both are reported dead, IGP Sagar zone Pawan Shrivastav, who was on his way to Prithvipur,
The SDOP was posted there around 2 months ago, he added.
Reasons however, for the fatal incident remain unclear as further investigations are underway, Shrivastav said.
