The Patna High Court has stayed a decision by the Bihar Assembly speaker to terminate the membership of four rebel Janta Dal (United) MLAs, accused of anti-party activities.

In November, the speaker had terminated the membership of the four MLAs, who were accused of cross voting in the recently held Rajya Sabha elections. These four MLAs were suspended by the JD(U) earlier in the year.
