TESO wants Centre to vote with US against Sri Lanka

Even as the government is in a bind over U.S-Sri Lanka showdown, the DMK has sought the Centre to support the strike called by TESO on March 12. All tran and air traffic are expected to be affected on that day as TESO seeks to demonstrate the importance of the issue. DMK believe that the protest scheduled on March 12, will help to pressurise the UPA to take an anti-Sri Lanka stand when the U.S sponsored UN resolution comes for voting on March 21.
