The event ‘Prerna Talks’ was held on Sunday, hosted by Indian Cultural Foundation, Swami Atmananda Sarawati was also part of the programme which was convened by Adv Satish Sharma. Chief guest Dr Swamy and Atmananda gave lecture on the issue of “Hindutva for National Integration and World Peace”. A soul-stirring session saw both the dignitaries preaching the significance of Hinduism and its impact in social harmony.

The address saw Swami Atmananda unambiguously clear the hindrances a person of Hindu community faces. Even though its ideology is what the principle basis of Indian culture today, the Hindu feels such amount of inferiority complex, that he uses vague arguments to hide his habits. He said, “When someone asks a Hindu why are you fasting today (on days such as Janmashtami & Ram Navami), the Hindu will tell that he is fasting as a strict dietary measure.”

But it was Dr Swamy’s speech that grabbed audience attention and almost every aspect of his worldly wisdom filled speech received thunderous applause. He put across an ideology through his speech that sought to define not only the Indian culture but also was intellectually liberating. Dr Swamy said, “Iran, Persia, and Iraq (Babylon and Mesopotamia) became a 100% Islam-convert nation within a span of less than 20 years. It is India that even after 200 years of Mughal (Islam) rule, and 200 years of British (Christianity) rule, that we still boast of 80% Hindus.”
