Andar Ki Baat: Shiv Sena to hold meeting, suspence continues to sit in opposition

India News :Afraid of being betrayed again, the Shiv Sena is preparing to sit in the opposition bench in the state assembly. While the Sena is insisting on inducting its three legislators in the cabinet by Sunday, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that there was no possibility of expanding the state cabinet before the trust vote on 12 November. Now, Shiv Sena–BJP are back to playing cat and mouse.
Sources in the Sena said that the BJP did not give them a concrete answer over whether they would be part of the government or not. "All the 63 newly elected MLAs of the party have unanimously told party president Uddhav Thackeray that they are prepared to sit in opposition if the BJP pushes the party too far. We have done whatever was possible from our end. We agreed to all of BJP’s terms and went to Delhi to speak to BJP leaders," said a Sena MP, on condition of anonymity.ena leaders said that the BJP’s high-handedness has turned public sentiment in the party's favour. "They are seem arrogant now and power hungry. People are watching and taking note. They have ditched us once before the polls, they can do it again but they will have to answer to the people after that," a Sena functionary said.
Another leader pointed out that Uddhav also attended the swearing in ceremony after requests from BJP leaders. "But, they must remember that we are not at the BJP’s mercy. We are the second largest party in the state. If there is no positive response from the BJP before the trust vote, we have no option but to declare our leader in the assembly," said a key party leader.
The leader said that the party wants a gracious entry into the government on time. "We can’t wait eternally for the BJP and they can’t keep us waiting all the time. The ball is in their court to decide whether to take our support or not," he added.
