President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday dissolved the Delhi Assembly after which the Election Commission (EC) withdrew the notification issued for holding bypolls in the national capital.A notification issued by the Home Ministry said that President Pranab Mukherjee has dissolved the "Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi with immediate effect" on November 4.The by-elections were to be held in the three Assembly constituencies - Mehrauli, Tughlakabad and Krishna Nagar - after the BJP leaders from these areas were elected to Lok Sabha.
