UN condemns Wagah border terror attack

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has strongly condemned the terrorist attack at the Wagah border crossing, saying such acts are not justifiable under any circumstances and called on Pakistani authorities to bring those responsible to justice.
“The Secretary-General condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place yesterday on the Pakistani side of the Wagah border crossing with India,” a statement issued by Mr. Ban’s spokesman said.
Expressing condolences to the families of those killed in the attack as well as to the Pakistani government, Mr. Ban said such terrorist acts are not justifiable under any circumstances.
“The Secretary-General urges the Pakistani authorities to bring those responsible to justice,” the statement added.
