After controversy, outpouring of anger, threat and finally truce, the row over Kamal Haasan's Magnum Opus 'Vishwaroopam' is finally over. The actor has decided to withdraw his plea against the Tamil Nadu Govt decision to ban the film. Haasan's decision comes after the state government lifted the ban it had imposed on the film's release theatres across Tamil Nadu. The Jayalalithaa-led AIDMK government lifted the ban on the film after the actor agreed to chop 7 minutes of the film as demanded by Muslim organisations in the state.
