Karnataka Assembly is all poised for a stormy budget session starting from today. With the Governor having accepted the resignations of 13 MLAs loyal to BS Yeddyurappa, the Jagadish Shettar led Government treads on thin ice. As of now, the BJP is surviving on a wafer thin majority and any further resignations could spell trouble. As of now, the Governor will address both the houses of the legislature today. Shettar will present his budget on February 8-the last for this term since the state goes to elections in April-May.
