Vishwaroopam row: My film has become a pawn, says Kamal Haasan

With his film Vishwaroopam facing a ban, Kamal Hassan blasted what he called a political game being played using his film as a pawn. The Tamil Superstar said he had given every paise he had to make Vishwaroopam and if it was sunk by petty politics he would be forced to leave the country in the face of such harassment. The Rs. 95 crore espionage thriller was originally scheduled to release in Tamil and Telugu on January 25. However, a day before the screenings, the Tamil Nadu government imposed a two-week ban on the film after some Muslim groups complained that some scenes in it portrayed the community in bad light.
