Major airports on high alert after threat of terror attack on flight

Note of caution for flyers from Ahmedabad and Mumbai who intend to board a flight from their respective city airports on Friday or on Saturday as the security check could be quite intense as there are intelligence inputs of suicide bomber making attempt to board Air India flights.

Reports suggested that the airport authorities of these cities have received advisory from Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) headquarters in New Delhi, stating that suicide bombers could board Air India’s Ahmedabad-Mumbai and Mumbai-Kochi flights scheduled for early morning departure on Saturday.
