A real social shocker emerging in our country. The controversial 'Sugar daddy dating' concept, which matches young women with wealthy, usually older men, has a presence in our cities. The Delhi page of a US-based internet dating website has profiles of 15 sugar daddies while Mumbai has eleven. The website also has 10 sugar babies from Delhi and 14 from Mumbai. Tall claims dominate the entries from here, with most of the Sugar Daddies saying that they are willing to spend around Rs.2.5 Lakh approximately a month for the sugar babies. NewsX's sister concern Sunday Guardian has reported that as many as 168 female graduates from Cambridge University signed up at the controversial US-based internet dating website last year. The move by the girls was dubbed as a novel way of helping fund their tuition fees. Besides this, the London School of Economics had 163 entries followed by Edinburgh University and London's University College with 148 and 140 entries respectively.
