Days after Nitin Gadkari's stood down as the BJP president there continues to be considerable speculation as to what led the RSS to withdraw its backing for him. Well NewsX's sister publication 'The Sunday Guardian' has answered the question. The report states that the tax raids on 22nd January came in handy for a group of young RSS leaders, who managed to convince Mohan Bhagwat about the liability that Gadkari will be for the BJP.
