Polls results out: BJP leads in Maharashtra and Haryana

Update 9.00 am: The first hour sees BJP emerge victorious as they are inching to a 100-seat mark in Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2014. Shiv Sena after being behind of Congress earlier have bounced back. The BJP are ahead on 99 seats, Shiv Sena 52, Congress 46, NCP 35, Others 5, MNS 3. In the Haryana Assembly Elections 2014 the BJP is again ahead of its counterparts. It is ahead on 45 seats, whereas the INLD is leading on 22, Congress is leading on 18, whereas the Others are ahead on 5 seats.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading on Congress in the first hour of 2014 Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Elections. In Maharashtra, BJP is surging ahead by a huge lead as Shiv Sena and Congress are trailing tentatively. On the 185 seats counted yet, the BJP are leading on 76 seats, Congress 40, Shiv Sena 36, NCP 28, MNS 3 whereas Others 2. In Haryana, on the 82 seats on which the trends are out, BJP is leading on 44 seats, INLD on 18 seats, and INC on 15 seats. The ‘Other’ parties are leading on 5 seats.

Update 8.30 am: The first half hour of the 2014 Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Elections have signalled that the BJP have gained big initially. In Maharashtra, the BJP is ahead on 15 seats, Shiv Sena is ahead on 5 seats, Congress is ahead on 2 seats, whereas the NCP is ahead on the sole seat. In Harayana the BJP is ahead on 6 seats, whereas the Congress and INLD are leading on one seat each.
The first trends in the 2014 State Assembly Elections are out. As predicted by the Exit Polls, BJP is ahead in both Haryana and Maharashtra. In Haryana, the BJP is ahead on two seats, whereas in Maharashtra the BJP is ahead on 5 seats. Former allies Congress and NCP have opened their account and they are ahead on one seat each in Maharashtra.

Update 8.00 am: The vote counting of Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Elections 2014 have finally begun. The fate of over 5000 candidates is at stake and the first trends will be out soon in next 15 minutes. Will the Narendra Modi magic work again for the BJP in Maharashtra and Haryana? Or will Congress get a reprieve. The exit polls suggested that BJP will be on top in both Maharashtra and Haryana.

Update 7.30 am: The counting for both Haryana and Maharashtra will begin shortly. The exit polls have signaled that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win with majority. The Indian National Congress (INC) is set to lose big in both Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly Elections. According to the exit polls results, Congress will not only slip from the top position but will slip to the third position. The atmosphere in BJP headquarters is quite jubilant.
