Ahmedabad: Gangrape victim attempts suicide in court

A gang rape victim yesterday attempted suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in the premises of metropolitan court in Ahmedabad alleging 'delay' in justice. It so happened that the complainant had come for a hearing in an alleged rape case of 2008. She got to know that the next date in the case was fixed for February 8. Frustrated, she walked out of court room on fifth floor and consumed some poisonous substance.
