Haryana: Woman pushed out of moving auto

There seems to be no end to police apathy, when it comes to dealing with emergency cases and violence against women. In a pathetic incident in Haryana, a woman was pushed out of a moving auto by miscreants on Sheetla Matha Road in Gurgaon. But the police took over half-a-hour to reach the spot despite the call to the control being made by a Congress MLA Naresh Sharma. Another pathetic aspect about the whole incident was that during the intervening period another PCR van which passed by that route was stopped and assistance sought. The cops present in the van, stoutly refused action since they were on a another call. The apathy was evident, with the cops present in the van not even bothering to find what had transpired.
