Slain jawan's family demands severed head back

The mother and widow of Lance Naik Hemraj Singh, the Army man from Shernagar village in Mathura whose severed and headless body was recovered in Jammu on Tuesday, went on a hunger strike on Saturday morning demanding the government bring back the martyr's head. AK Mishra, sub divisional magistrate (SDM) Mathura, however , claimed late on Saturday night that the protest had been called off after the assurance that their demands will be pursued to a logical conclusion.
